Over 100,000 winners were randomly selected in the 2005 Green Card lottery (called DV-2007). The statistical breakdown of winners by country will be published shortly.
ALL WINNERS HAVE ALREADY BEEN NOTIFIED. IF YOU DID NOT RECEIVE NOTIFICATION BY NOW, YOU DID NOT WIN. YOU MAY REGISTER FOR THE 2008 LOTTERY.
Winning notices were sent ONLY by regular mail ONLY to the address listed on your application.
If you selected the DVExpress option, you will be able to check if you won and download your winning notification and documentation online by logging in to your account. A winning notice will also be sent to you by email. Please visit the DVExpress page for more information.
It is important to understand that even if you won, you may not get your green card. For information on what to do and how to protect yourself, we suggest you read the Winners Manual. Because time is of the essence and some of the documents needed may take significant time to obtain, you may want to review this document even before you win, so you can prepare in advance.
Please note that USGCLS, the Kentucky Consular Center, and US Embassies and Consulates abroad are NOT able to respond to individual result inquiries. The only way to know if you won is to wait for your winning notification. Please do not make individual inquiries. We appreciate your patience and understanding.
